As part of a Welsh government initiative, all year 4 pupils have been given their own special library ticket and book bag. This morning, we spent an enjoyable session listening to Roald Dahl stories and choosing 2 books to read at home and then return to the library. Please support this initiative by ensuring that your child not only reads and enjoys their books, but also that they return them to the library.Thank you.
Happy St. David's day from everyone in Dosbarth Cerien!
Congratulations to Ellie Ryan our winner of the handwriting competition and to Adeeba Abrar, winner of the art and poetry competition..
A massive diolch to our friends at Warburtons who came to help us make delicious and very healthy sandwiches as part of our topic.
We have been busy working with students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to create our own rhythmic compositions as well as finding out about guitars. We also have performed our African drumming music.
Art work this term
As part of our multicultural arts week, we looked at masks from Africa. We had to use our maths skills to measure our heads so that we could wear our masks. Harder than it looks!!!
Our competition for Dydd Gwyl Dewi was to choose our favourite Welsh landmark and reproduce it using a media of our choice. Our results are displayed in the classroom, please do come and have a look!
