Croeso i Ddosbarth Llwyfen!
This half term is...Project Time!
In Literacy we will be concentrating on our writing skills. Through our projects we will be writing lots of plans and evaluations as well as presentations, speeches and scripts. We will be studying media texts and writing biographies too.
We are going to carry on developing our number, shape, measure and data handling skills. We will be investigating data through our project work and developing our skills in presenting our findings.
Through exploring countries and continents, we will be investigating climates, habitats and ecosystems. We will also be looking at reliability and bias as well as facts, opinions and beliefs.
Through our projects we will be using maps, globes and atlases to locate countries and cities. We will be using scales to calculate distances and travel times.
All homework will be given out on a Friday to be completed over the weekend. Reading books and homework needs to be returned on a Monday unless Mrs Wynne-Williams gives a different return date. Homework will usually be a literacy and numeracy task but sometimes there will be projects linked to our context. You will have more time to complete a project.
Kits must be in school on a Monday and stay in school each day as our PE day may change throughout the week.
We really, really want to be the attendance champions every week this year. It is so important that we work as a team and everyone comes to school every day they can.
