Multi Cultural Arts Week - February 9th to 13th 2015
This week each class is studying the work of a famous artist as part of our whole school Multi Cultural Arts Week. Pupils will be showcasing their work at our 'Show and Tell' Assembly on Friday 13th February.
Thank you for all the Harvest goods that you brought to school. We will be donating to the Cardiff Foodbank.
We celebrated the technology available in our school by carrying out projects including movie making, photography, mind mapping, computer game making and QR codes.
See our 'ICT @ Gabalfa' in the Curriculum section for more detail.
During the week beginning Monday 17th March, all of Gabalfa Primary have been celebrating our love of books. On Wednesday we dressed up as some of our favourite book characters and had a special assembly where the Queen of Hearts (aka Mrs Jenkins) shared some of her favourite books with us.
This year we celebrated St David's Day a little bit later than the 1st March because of the half term holiday. We worked hard creating beautiful art, writing neatly and producing fantastic poetry to enter into our Eisteddod competition.
Congratulations to Ty Caerdydd whose members were the overall winners of the competition.
This year's Bard was Jacob in Dosbarth Castanwydden.
