The National Categorisation System was introduced to help identify those schools in Wales in need of the most support. Under the new system schools are assessed on both their performance and their ability to improve.
All schools in Wales have be allocated one of four colours with green representing the top performing schools, yellow for good schools, amber for schools in need of improvement and red for schools in need of the most improvement.
Gabalfa Primary School is pleased to be again

A GREEN school is a highly effective school
that has a track record of raising standards and has the capacity
to support other schools to do better.
