Collen (Hazel)

Dosbarth Collen

24.01.20

A huge WELL DONE to the children who are regularly completing work on Google Classroom, Purple Mash and Active Learn (you know who you are!).

There will be new work scheduled for this coming week.

Mr Davies has uploaded the next 5 chapters of our class book 'The Boy at the back of the class'.

15.01.21

I can't believe it's only the end of the second week after the holidays. New Year seems so long ago.

It has been great to see lots of you on our Google Meet sessions.

Next week there will be more work uploaded to Google Classroom, so make sure you access it daily.

If you have any problems, you can message me on Google Classroom or email homelearning@gabalfaprm.cardiff.sch.uk

Happy New Year Dosbarth Collen

It's not quite the new year that we were expecting but we can do this because we are awesome!

From tomorrow (6th January) until Friday (8th January) I will be allocating you work on Google Classroom, Purple Mash and Active Learn (Abacus and Bug Club). Before Christmas you took home a pack which included all of your log in details. If you have lost your logins, please email homelearning@gabalfaprm.cardiff.sch.uk

From Monday 11th January until Friday 15th January I will be setting daily Literacy, Maths and Context work on Google Classroom. This work needs to be completed everyday and in the order it has been set. I will also be allocating work on Active Learn and Purple Mash, so please log on to these sites everyday. Our new Context for this term is Misty Mountain, Winding River.

Earlier this week, Mrs Prescott tried to teach me how to make videos. You know how difficult I find it to learn new skills but I will persevere until I am successful - just like I expect you too. Hopefully, by next week, I will be able to upload teaching videos to support your learning. (Be positive Miss Harding, you will upload them!)

Welcome back to Autumn Term 2020.

'No pain, no gain (lol). Raising our heart rate is lots of fun! (See the smiles on our faces.)

How do we know if we have improved? Did I do more star jumps than last week? I don't remember yesterday, let alone last week  :)

Dosbarth Collen decided to keep training logs to track their progress. Will they improve each week?

We created our own 'Penny Black' stamp.
